URL generator for campaigns

Campaign tagging is a system where parameters are added to a URL to track and analyse which marketing channels drive traffic.

How to campaign tag in:



Google Analytics (UTM)

Fill in the fields as follows:

  • Landing page: Full URL (e.g. https://example.com/product)
  • Source (utm_source): Where the traffic comes from (facebook, linkedin, newsletter)
  • Medium (utm_medium): Type of channel (cpc, social, email, banner)
  • Campaign name (utm_campaign): Campaign name (company_spring_campaign_2025)
  • Content (optional) (utm_content): What distinguishes this link (banner_top, text_link)
  • Term (optional) (utm_term): For paid search ads

Matomo (MTM)

Fill in the fields above with MTM format selected. Requires the Marketing Campaigns Reporting plugin in Matomo.
